Featuring Indianapolis Opera in the Park

The White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis is hosting the 2008 Family Arts Series. Performance arts will be brought to the community this summer with two events held every month from June through September. All shows are FREE and will be held in the outdoor Celebration Amphitheater at the White River State Park. All guests are invited to bring their blankets and picnic baskets to enjoy the entertainment.

The show is set to begin at 2:30pm at the outdoor Celebration Amphitheatre in White River State Park. Indianapolis Opera in the Park features familiar opera hits, the best of Broadway, as well as musical highlights of Indianapolis Opera's upcoming season. A real community event for all ages! The entire event is FREE. It is held outdoors at the Celebration Amphitheater of the White River State Park. Food will be available for purchase. Guests can bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets.

Due to inclement weather predicted on Sunday, September 14, the Family Art Series will be at the George Washington School Auditorium. The school is located at 2215 W. Washington St., just 3 minutes from the White River State Park. Parking is available on the east side of the building. The show is scheduled to begin at 2:30PM. So come out for FREE Opera at the George Washington Community School!
